AMOREM receives Hospice Honors Elite award
AMOREM was one of 17 hospice organizations in North Carolina to recently be recognized as a “Hospice Elite” organization by the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS).
This prestigious program is based on satisfaction scores by CAHPS and exclusively recognizes hospice agencies that have chosen to work with MatrixCare to administer their hospice surveys. Two months after a patient passes MatrixCare sends a survey to the person most involved with the patient, which could be a relative or friend. The survey includes 38 questions based on the care received for the patient and support to their loved ones.
Hospice CAHPS Honors was awarded to hospices that scored above the MatrixCare National Score on at least 17 of the evaluated questions. MatrixCare holds a special recognition, Hospice Honors Elite, to honor hospices scoring above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on one hundred percent, or all 22, of the evaluated questions.

This is the first time in the organization’s history to receive this award. Previously AMOREM had been honored numerous years with the “Hospice Honors” award.
