AMOREM team members recognized for excellence in healthcare marketing and communications

CHARLESTON- AMOREM Community Engagement team members have been recognized by the Carolina Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (CHPRMS) for their healthcare marketing and communications excellence.
Director of Public Relations Lisa Caviness and Digital Content Specialist Molly Fitzgerald were awarded two Wallie Awards and a Golden Tusk award during the 2024 CHPRMS conference.
Wallie and Golden Tusk awards are presented annually to health systems, hospitals, non-profit health care organizations and other health care facilities across the Carolinas for their outstanding marketing and communications efforts from purpose, concept and design production, execution and results.
“Our public relations team is excited and humbled by the recognition from our peers in healthcare marketing throughout the Carolinas,” says Director of Public Relations Lisa Caviness. “It is our privilege and honor to promote the excellence delivered by the entire AMOREM team to our local community every day.”
This year, the AMOREM team was awarded with a Wallie for their Quality. Compassion. Support. Mailer that supports the organization’s capital campaign to bring a patient care unit to the High Country service area, a Wallie award for the AMOREM Service Podcast that serves as educational material for patients, community members and caregivers and the team was awarded with a Golden Tusk award for their “Still Right at Home” campaign that spreads awareness about the organization's mission and service areas.
“Our expert judges had a challenging task selecting winners with so many quality entries this year,” said Justin Gomez, CHPRMS president. “Wallie and Golden Tusk award winners represent the best of health care marketing and communications through their creative strategies, expertise and overall excellence.”
