Matching Gift Challenge for AMOREM's High Country Patient Care Unit

For more than four decades AMOREM has provided hospice and palliative medicine services to patients and their families who face terminal and serious illness. AMOREM has provided exceptional care not through the work of one or two individuals, but through a team of experts driven by a mission to provide quality compassionate end-of-life care to patients and those that love and support them.
Hospice care requires teamwork. Elevating hospice care in the community requires teamwork and collaboration as well, especially historical moments like building the first patient care unit in the High Country.
“We are so excited to bring the first patient care unit to the High Country,” says Chief Growth and Development Officer Kerri McFalls. “The High Country has waited long enough to have its own hospice patient care unit and AMOREM is honored to provide that service. As a non-profit hospice provider, none of this could have been possible without the tremendous support from those in the High Country who have made contributions to AMOREM’s Quality. Compassion. Support. campaign.”
One of AMOREM’s private donors recognizes the importance of AMOREM’s Quality. Compassion. Support. campaign, the importance of teamwork and is dedicated to partnering with AMOREM to bring the first patient care unit to the High Country. They would like to challenge the community to partner with AMOREM as well.
To date, more than $6 million has been donated and pledged to the Quality. Compassion. Support. campaign. While AMOREM celebrates the gifts given and pledged to date, more gifts and pledges are needed to ensure the quality compassionate services of AMOREM are elevated in the High Country. In a spirit of teamwork and an effort to energize AMOREM’s team of supporters, a private donor has committed to match up to a total of $250,000 from now until September 1.
“Teamwork and collaboration is essential when providing hospice and palliative medicine services,” says Chief Growth and Development Officer Kerri McFalls. “Both are equally important for capital campaigns. We are honored to have a partner that believes in AMOREM’s mission and desires to have more individuals in the community partner with us to bring more quality, more compassion and more support to the High Country. Our donor’s generosity to match up to $250,000 given to the capital campaign will make a tremendous impact.”
